Serengeti National Park is undisputedly the world’s most celebrated wildlife sanctuary. Covering over 14,000 square kilometers of raw African savanna, the name Serengeti is derived from the Maasai word 'Siringet', which literally translates to 'endless plains'. This magical ecosystem is globally famous for hosting the annual Great Migration—a breathtaking natural spectacle where over two million wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles thunder across the plains in search of fresh pasture, closely tracked by Africa's highest concentration of apex predators including lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
