Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park (Home of Elephants)
Your private professional guide will pick you up early from your residential hotel in Arusha. Embark on a beautiful 2-hour drive across the Maasai steps to Tarangire National Park. Known for its iconic giant Baobab trees and having the largest density of elephants on Earth, enjoy full-day game tracking along the life-giving Tarangire River. Stop at a panoramic riverview picnic site for lunch while watching zebras and gazelles drink below. Late afternoon, drive up into the scenic Karatu or crater rim highlands for a freshly prepared dinner and overnight stay at your pre-selected mid-range comfort lodge or luxury camp.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha
Wake up early for a hearty bush breakfast, pack your luggage, and descend 600 meters into the floor of the majestic Ngorongoro Crater. This ancient volcanic caldera hosts over 30,000 wild animals living inside its self-contained walls. Spend 6 solid hours exploring open plains, Lerai groundwater forest, and Lake Magadi hippo pools.
